The day started off cloudy which was the exact location we were planning to shoot in. As soon as we got to the park, the sun came out and the sky cleared up.

We only had about 30 minutes to shoot so we made do with what we could. Using a bare flash as a backlight, we tried to combat the bright sun as much as possible.

Our inexperience was clear as we both struggled to find poses and spots where the sun wasn’t detrimental to our images.

In the end we got a couple of good shots and the rest were decent. We’ll be trying this shoot again at a later time.
