A Walk

I’ve been trying to get out and shoot more.

When you first pick up a camera, you tend to take photos of everything around you. But after a while of taking images of the same thing, you start to not pick up the camera as often.

I figured out that hopping on a bike and driving to a random location would be a great way to take photos of a new location. So thats exactly what I did. I rode the bike to a place I’ve been before, and I’ve shot before, but never actually took the time to look for things to shoot.

I know that sounds weird but hear me out.

Sometimes you just take photos of random things that look pretty, but you don’t actually take the time to look for the best way to capture that subject.

With cold weather and cloudy skies above me, I was extremely happy I made the decision to go out and shoot. I must have taken photos of nearly everything within a few meters and kept on searching for more things to take photos of. Before I knew it, I was on a race against light yet again.

My camera is not good in low light and the lens I brought is also pretty bad for it, so once the sun went down I decided to ride home.

With the biggest smile on my face, I couldn’t wait to edit the photos from today.
