Gabriel’s Faded Look

Gabriel has been the person I have shot with the most lately. He is always up for a shoot and is down to try out new things. This time, he had some things in mind though.

He wanted to recreate the Beatles CD cover photo on the Fremont sing. He also wanted some videos so he could use to promote his song. And I wanted to take some photos as well.

He said he wanted a faded desaturated look. I knew exactly how to deliver that, but I also shot a few frames for me.

The shoots always go super easy with him. He knows how to pose and what to do, so most of the time I just turn the camera on, let him do his thing and make sure that the composition is good.

We did get a pretty cool aesthetic. The faded look at night with the ambiance of the city really makes for some cool looking photos. Plus with my camera being able to shoot at 12,800 with fairly reasonable grain/noise, we got some really unique images.
