Syreta’s Lingerie

This shoot was a lot easier than we all expected it to be.

Originally we had intended to shoot in a hotel that was modeled like an antic room from the 20’s. But sadly, by the time that Syreta’s boyfriend tried to book it, all the rooms were sold out.

With no more available days on anyones end, we headed to the closest hotel that was fairly decent and we started to set up.  We went through some photos Syreta and her Boyfriend round online the day before and I began to set up my lights so I could try to get the style they were going for.

We only had about an hour to shoot, and the setup took most of that time, so we had to make every pose count.

I ended up using an old Canon lens to try to get some low contrast images, but it proved to be a lot more difficult than I anticipated. Since we were fighting the clock, I had no choice but to use the stock lens that is pretty horrible in lowlight. I had to pump up my lights as much as I could just to get some decent lighting.

It’s definitely not what we were going for, but we got a few good photos that she was able to add to her portfolio.
