Gabrielle At The Arts

Fighting traffic and the sunset, Saul and I rushed to the arts district as safely as possible. Gabrielle was also rushing but from the opposite part of the city. Even so, we were on schedule to arrive minutes from each other.

As soon as we get there, it hits Saul and me that we aren't as familiar with the area as much as we thought we were. We had been to this exact location a few times in the past, but late at night, and we didn't do much exploring.

It was Gabrielle’s first time as well. Luckily, she was as adventurous as the both of us and she was up for anything as long as we got some bangers. Something that would be ridiculous easily with her as the model.

We started off with a few portraits of her along an incredible mural. Her clothes complimenting her tall stature and the 85mm lens making her pop in certain images were simply perfection.

After exploring spots within that one block, we realized we had a few minutes of sunlight left so we decided to start having her model Saul's shirts. We managed to get a few on her before the sun was completely blocked by the tall warehouses surrounding us. Luckily I was shooting with the flash and softbox so that bought us 20 extra minutes.

We were all stoked on the images, but sadly the light left us and we had to end the shoot. We took hundreds of images, and we could have easily taken hundreds more if we had the sunlight.

With the location being sketchy, we decided to end the shoot. We said goodbye and parted ways.

Off to the breweries...
