Columbus, Ohio

There was so much to love about this trip to Columbus, Ohio. But I think my favorite part was the drive to the city.

With heavy rains and heavy winds cutting through the open road, cars and trucks swayed like if they were made out of paper. Even at 20mph I still felt like I could slip out of the road at any moment.

The rain lasted about 2 hours, and when it finally stopped, there was this calm beautiful breeze outside of the car. I decided to stop in a random dirt road that led to no where and just enjoy the cool breeze.

I took some photos of the truck I was in before I decided to try to go further into the road. After almost getting stuck a few times, I decided it was best to just go to the city.

This little area felt so nice. It felt like the times I would go camping with my friends and we would find a random little area that was so quiet, we’d just sit and say nothing, do nothing and soak up every second of that moment.

The city was like all the cities on this side of the country. Old and unique.

There were lots to see here. I went to the edge of town right up to the waterfront. They’re a lot of cool little parks that take you along the water. I think you can probably see Canada from here. This place was really cool. Even though there were people around, it still felt empty.

The downtown area is very cool. The streets are easily accessible on foot. With plenty of people walking around, taking the bus and riding scooters, the city feels alive at all hours. The mall here was pretty empty thought. That's probably due to the pandemic though. Even though you would be hard pressed to see people wearing masks or acting like there was a pandemic.

It’s defenitly a cool city to be in.
