Poppy Fields

It’s always a big thing when the Poppy Fields start blooming. People from all over rush to them. The best time to go is right at the begging before everyone starts trampling them and being jerks and picking them.

We went somewhere right in the middle. It was a short 45 minute drive, but the sun was a bit hard that day. Going at midday was also not optimal lighting. Regardless, we decided to make the best of it.

Parking was insane but after finally dealing with all the people, we finally arrived at the entrance. There were many of places that were blocked off but still enough were we could get some great photos.

The location was crowded with people and photographers alike. I really struggled to get decent images this time around. I only brought an 85mm lens with me and decided to make the best of it. It was challenging to say the least.

Alyza and Karina enjoyed the flowers as much I did. The photos came out decent. Next time I’ll try to go on a cloudy day and take a light flash and umbrella to get some great lighting.
